Six Best Rewards Credit Cards

Are you looking to sign up for a credit card but not sure which one to get? Applying for a credit card can be a daunting task. There are so many out there that it is easy to become overwhelmed and confused. I have compiled a list of what I believe to be the top ten credit cards that offer rewards, from the opinion of a reward credit card user. Please be aware that card companies often change their benefits so be sure to verify all information learned here with the company before accepting a credit card.

At the moment, Chase is offering a nice bonus when you get their credit card. They will give you $200 when you spend $500 in the first three months. If you are following my Earning Money With Credit Cards plan, this will be no problem. I personally have this card and love it. You can redeem your points for money deducted from your bill, you can get a check mailed to you, you can shop in their store, or you can redeem it for many airlines (or converted into miles if you also have a Chase Sapphire or a Chase Ink in Bold card). You also get:

· 1% on l purchases.

· 5% back on up to $1,500 in their three categories that change quarterly (like gas, groceries, home improvement, etc.).

· No Annual Fee

· I am not positive they are still doing this, but if you link it to your Chase bank account you move up to 2% on all purchases.

This is a nice card because it offers you not only cash back but they give you 50% of the points you earned at the end of the year. So, lets say you have earned 200,000 points in the span of the year. At the end of this year Capital One gives you an extra 100,000 points. They also offer:

· 1% cash back on all purchases.

· A one-time bonus of $100 when you spend $500 in the first 3 months.

· They often offer 0% intro APR specials so be sure to look out for that.

If you travel a lot, and like Delta Airlines, this is definitely the card for you. There are many great perks with this card, however, there is a $95 fee that is waived for the first year but charged thereafter. Take this into consideration before applying for this card. Perks include:

· One mile for every dollar you spend, plus additional miles when you purchase Delta tickets with the card.

· 30,000 bonus miles when you spend $500 in your first 3 months.

· Miles never expire!

· If you are more than 100 miles away from home you have access to a hotline that will help you with emergencies – medical, passport, legal, luggage problems 24 hours a day.

· Travel Accident insurance.

· If you miss flight or lose your card they will arrange emergency check in and payment at a local hotel.

There are actually two Disney rewards cards, but here I will be outlining the lower one because it does not charge the $49 annual fee the other one does. If you love Disney vacations then this is the card for you. Use this card all year long and earn money towards pretty much everything Disney. There are more rewards than I have listed, but the main rewards include:

· 1% in rewards dollars on all purchases. There is no limit to how much you can earn.

· In addition to park tickets, Disney resort stays, and Disney dining, you can redeem for Disney movie tickets, toys, DVD’s costumes and more.

· There is no Block out Dates.

· 10% off select purchases of $50 and more at Disney parks and the Disney Store.

· $50 bonus after you make your first purchase

This one has a long name. It is a good card though if you travel a lot and like American Airlines. There is a $95 fee for this card but the perks while traveling may well be worth it to you. You can check a bag for free. You get priority boarding. Your miles never expire and there is no earnings cap. Here are other perks:

· After spending $1000 in the first three months (again, easy to do if you are earning money by using credit cards) you get 30,000 miles, which American Airlines says is enough for a domestic round trip flight.

· Each year they give you $100 off any American Airlines flight

· When you redeem miles for a flight, they give you 10% of those miles back.

· Double miles on AA flight purchases.

· No Black out dates

· Lost luggage coverage, person concierge services, price protection, travel and emergency service, and more.

Last but not least, this card may be the best if you buy a lot of groceries and gas. There is a better version of this card that gives up to double the points but there is a $75 annual fee and you have to have better credit to get it. If you plan to use this card for everything you may want to look into the “Preferred” version (Takes the place of “Everyday”) of this card. With your rewards you can get cash back, gift cards, or merchandise. Here are some of the benefits:

· $100 back after spending $1000 within the first 3 months

· 3% cash back at supermarkets

· 2% cash back at gas stations and department stores

· 1% on all other eligible purchases

· At the time I am writing this, they are offering 0% APR for the first 12 months

· If you get friends to get this card too, you can get $25 for every friend
